Letter of Last Instructions
(To be used in conjunction with the Master Control Index) It is important to review all of your estate documents every three to five years. This is true not only because legal interpretations and tax laws change, but also because your wishes probably will shift over time. This document should be kept with your important legal papers such as your will and trust documents where it can be readily accessed by your Personal Representative in the event of your death. Your investments and real estate are transferred by law, by contract of by probate. This letter is to reference your other property not specifically covered by your legal documents.
